Technical Description

Technical Description of the ISB-PHC-250 Building System

The Building System is a silicate-based 250 mm modular formwork system where the load-bearing structure is formed by monolithic reinforced concrete mesh within the permanent formwork.

The building system consists of three main components: the permanent PHC wall and ceiling formwork elements, reinforcement, and classified additive fluid concrete.

The ISB-PHC elements are preferably manufactured on-site in a mobile prefabrication manual small workshop with wall and ceiling reinforcements, assembled, and concreted into monolithic reinforced concrete structures without the use of machinery, only with manual labor.

The wall and ceiling elements of the building system, along with the partition wall elements, are uniformly sized at 750×500 mm, with core elements made of 300 Kg/m3 density aerated cement, and core insert elements made of 120 Kg/m3 aerated cement, manufactured in mold templates.

The ISB elements are glued together in mold templates using adhesive with a one-minute setting time, creating millimeter-precise building elements.

The ISB wall and ceiling elements are assembled with ribbed reinforcement and poured with fluid concrete to form monolithic structures.

The weight of ISB building elements is a maximum of 13 Kg, easily assembled by hand, with extremely economical material usage. For the concrete pouring of wall structures, 30 m2 of wall can be produced from 1 m3 of concrete, and for the ceiling structure, 13 m2 of ceiling can be produced from 1 m3 of concrete.

The ISB-PHC Building System is currently the cheapest, fastest, energy-efficient, earthquake and disaster-resistant, sustainable building system in the world.
